Acute, chronic or post-operative pain
Arthritis
Osteoarthritis
Tendinitis
Nerve root irritations
Shoulder and back pain
TMJ
Plantar fascists
Burns and wounds
Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
Due to its safety, ease of use and beneficial results, a broad spectrum of practitioners, including chiropractors, physical therapists, medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, osteopaths, acupuncturists, veterinarians, dentists, sports therapists, and massage therapists use Low Level Laser Therapy in their practice.
How Low Level Laser Therapy Works
Lasers supply energy to the body in the form of photons of light. Laser output is measured by the wavelength of light emitted (in nanometers [nm]) and electrical power output (in milliwatts [mW]). Cold lasers deliver power from 1 mW to 500 mW and do not increase the temperature of the living tissue that they contact. Research indicates that a wavelength of 635 nm is the frequency of a healthy cell and is optimal for healing. The body is able to absorb this light energy on a cellular level and transform it into chemical energy to accelerate tissue healing. So, while all levels of light produce biological changes, most laser research suggests that the most advantageous levels of wavelength for healing occurs in the 630 – 660nm range. When cells absorb energy from this spectrum of light the body is able to make its own repairs and this accounts for a long list of ailments that can be successfully treated. The biological effects measured in this range include proper oxygenation and detoxification of the cell, absorption by the mitochondria of photons (which are converted into ATP for energy), DNA replication, and regeneration of damaged nerve tissue.
Restore™ Low Level Laser – The Best Value for Your Money
If you have questions or need information we invite you to contact our in-house chiropractor, Dr. Shelly Dowling. Below is a brief description of Dr. Shelly's experience with the laser.
"I have been using Cold Laser Therapy (CLT) for the past seven years to treat conditions from stroke to acne with great results. Since CLT works at the cellular level, it impacts a wide range of ailments.
"Over the years I have purchased many lasers, including multi-diode, fully programmable units costing $10,000 - $13,000. A few years ago I began purchasing 635nm single-diode units to rent to my patients for home use. I found these units so much easier to handle than the bigger units that I started using them myself on a daily basis.
"Whether you are looking to purchase a cold laser for the first time or looking to add an extra laser or two, the Restore Laser is a high quality 635nm laser at a price that makes it a great value."
In good health,
Dr. Shelly Dowling
